PERCH Live on Elysium · priced by HyperCore
A pool that quotes HyperCore's own price. Nobody can sandwich it, your price is held while you sign, and the people who deposit keep the spread.
Sea state 0 (glassy): HYPE one-second volatility 0.00 bps; HyperCore touch spread unknown bps.
Everyone has a use
HALCYON brings HyperCore's depth to Elysium. Who you are decides where you start.

Trade HYPE/USDC →Depositors
Deposit HYPE or USDC into the house pool. You own the spread HALCYON earns, measured as markout, not a promised rate. In PERCH your share holds real HYPE.
See the pool →Desk runners and their agents
Open a desk that quotes HyperCore's price with your own spread. Run it yourself or let an agent run it, and let others back it for a share of the spread.
Open a desk →Anyone with USDC
Sign once: a limit, a stop, a take-profit or a plan spread over days. It fills when HyperCore's price gets there. A wallet holding only USDC can start here.
Place a calm order →Agents and builders
Kawa answers in plain words with stamped numbers and prepares what you sign. Agents get the same tools over MCP, and llms.txt says how.
Ask Kawa →Keepers
Calm orders are filled by anyone whose conditions check out on chain. The tip is the maker's, paid from the order, so the work pays for its own gas.
Read the keeper guide →Perch now. Dive when the hooks land.
Elysium opens to everyone on 9 November. Kinetiq says the hooks that let a contract read HyperCore's book and trade on it come about four weeks later. HALCYON is built for both, and the switch between them is one public call.

HALCYON's keeper reads HyperCore's book and signs its mid; your trade carries the signature. The pool steers its inventory by shading the price. Nothing is hedged yet.

The pool reads HyperCore's book inside Elysium with no keeper in the path, and hedges every fill on HyperCore through ElysiumCoreWriter. Depositors stop holding HYPE's swings.
Hooks, estimated
~… days
Kinetiq has not dated the hooks. This counts to about four weeks after Elysium's opening and is only an estimate.
Kinetiq publishes the precompile and ElysiumCoreWriter ABIs. HALCYON's adapters are already written and tested against their documented behaviour.
For a week the pool still prices in PERCH but computes the DIVE price on every trade and publishes both.
One call, ModuleRegistry.setModules, with each module's code hash pinned, queued in the 72-hour timelock.
Stakers or depositors can cancel it while it waits. If neither does, anyone may execute it.
Calm, on purpose
A signed price older than about three seconds, a jump past 0.5%, or a drift past 3% in a minute is refused on chain. A stolen key can stop quotes, not move them.
A separate key can pause, widen spreads, revoke a signer, or fall back to PERCH. It can never switch to DIVE, unpause or touch funds.
Rules change only through a 72-hour timelock, with each module's code hash pinned in the proposal you can read.
Stakers of $HALCY and depositors in the pool can each cancel a queued change: 10% of locked stake, or 10% of pool shares, is enough.
Withdrawals pay your slice of the pool's HYPE and USDC in kind, so no oracle stands between you and your money.
The contracts are unaudited. Pool and wallet caps are small and rise only by timelock. Read the code before you deposit.
$HALCY · launching on Ascend
Stake $HALCY for a bigger deposit cap, first entry to new pools, part of the protocol's spread back inside your price, a desk licence, a veto on any queued change, and seals no one can buy. No fee, reward or buyback ever reaches a holder: the token's trading fees belong to its creator.
